 THE CULTURE OF POETS.



         Poets don’t smoke weeds

         Rather they smoke books

         And puff off esoteric words


         Poets don’t drink rums

5       Rather they drink facts

         And vomits mysteries in words


         Poets don’t fight with guns

         Rather they fight with …gongs,

         Bombarding ballistic missiles of words


10     Poets don’t hate 

         Rather they hit

        The cosmos with combatant

         Word composite dynamite


         Poets don’t sleep

15     Rather they slip

         In treasures via friendship


         Poets don’t smoke weed to be high

         But amongst fellow gods, they are the most high


          Poets don’t die, because

 20    They are immortals, who had     sojourned for a glorious cause.
