THE SHEPHERD AND THE LOST SHEEP.
THE SHEPHERD AND THE LOST SHEEP.
Wandering in the wilderness
Weak, worn-out and worried
Walking in where there is no way
Gone astray from the Way
Moving towards the domain
Where death reigns as king
Besieged by the beasts of the wild
Wild wicked wolves, seeking
To devour lost wandering
And wearied sheep,
Groping in confusion
Seeking for the Way
Which leads to the Truth
Where there is the Life
Then roars the Lion,
The king of the wild,
The wild wolves wailed and withdrew
The lost sheep wondered and
Withered, hid itself in a pit
That had no water within
Without any wave of hope
The wind of hope walked into
The waterless pit, with
Its out-stretched arms and
Took hold of the lost...wearied sheep
The sheep wondered;
Can the Lion spare the sheep?
Then the silent whisper:
I am the Good Shepherd
And Prince of Life,
Seeking for my lost sheep
I became the lion, to save you
From the wild wicked wolves;
Now follow me, because:
I am the Way, you seek
That leads to the Truth
Where there is the Life!
