WHAT'S LOVE?
WHAT'S LOVE?
What’s love?
If love is a transgression
Consider me, the
unrepentant transgressor
And let me perish
in the hell of eternal bliss
What’s love?
If love is an
offense
Consider me, the
notorious lawbreaker
And let me rot in
the jail of freedom
What’s love?
If love is a
stormy sky
Consider me, the
eagle with broken wings
And let me soar up
by the unbroken law of gravity
What’s love?
If love is a
turbulent ocean
Consider me, the
deaf and blind sailor
And let me
submerge in the dead sea of living waters
What’s love?
If love is a
burning furnace
Consider me, the
raw ore of impurities
And let me be purified
as pure gold, in the furnace of desecration
What’s love?
If love is a fairy
tale
Consider me, the
clown bewitched by illusion
And let me find
reality in fantasy
What’s love?
If love is a
mountain
Consider me, the
cripple
And let me climb the
steeps with a speed far greater than E = mc²
What’s love?
If love is a
valley of death
Consider me, the
misguided wayfarer
And let me be lost
in the epicenter of the way
What’s love?
If love is a Cross
Consider me, the
unsolicited bearer
And let me bear the
heaviness of light burden
What’s love?
If love is a deep
dungeon,
Consider me, the soak
away ostracized gluttonous cockroach
And let me be
drunk with the sewage exotic wine
What’s love?
If love is an
institution,
Consider me, the
unrepentant lackadaisical student
Unserious with his
studies
And let me fail my
exams again and again
And never to
graduate from this institution of love for ever and ever
What’s love?
Take heed to the
oracles of the gentile apostle
And be drunk from his
sacred goblet
For love is: the
perfect appears,
The imperfect disappears
For by love we
confront
With love we combat
With love we subdue
With love we rule
over impossibilities
For Elohim is love
And with Him,
impossibilities dissolve
By substituting for the above…
With love all
things are framed possible.
